Louisville Assembly Plant
Ford Motor Company
History in the making.
Filmmaking balances creative problem-solving, careful planning, and adapting when the plan changes. For this project, we had three days to scout, prep, and film inside an active construction zone at Ford’s Louisville Assembly Plant, capturing the scale and complexity of the facility while working around a live production environment and a tight schedule.
That’s where good production matters. The creative stays ambitious, but every decision has to work practically. From scouting through production, post, and finishing, our job is finding the smartest way to get the project where it needs to go without losing what makes it interesting.
The result is a film we made with Burson for Ford about the Louisville Assembly Plant, currently being retooled for Ford’s upcoming Fathom. The film also tells the story behind the Universal EV Production System, developed by Kevin Young with the Louisville Assembly Plant team, a chance to get inside the process and communicate something highly technical in a compelling way.
